My friend, Louise, and I were on Holiday in Halmstad in June ’99. We were staying at The Hotel Tylösand, not so much coz Per owns it, more coz we wanted to have some luxury around us.
I heard about the concert on the radio, a Seattle station called Star 101.5. Every year they have a «listener appreciation concert» and the only way to get in is to call in and win a contest, be the 101st caller. Well that is impossible, for the zillions of times I’ve tried to do that I’ve never even gotten through let alone be a certain caller number.
This is more or less what happened the day I met cool Per and sweet Marie. Are you ready? Well, hold on tight and join the crazy joyride…
I was at the school when suddenly a friend of the next to-class screamed me: «ROXETTE COMES WITHIN ONE WEEK aahhh!
Last Thursday, my absolutely best friend, whose now my gardian angel, but don’t tell her that or put that on the page, told me about a local station in Charlotte NC, 107.9 The Link who were sponcering a concert at the Double Door in Cornilious NC which is about 2 hours away. I told her I was going to call and ask for details on how to get the tickets.
Just got back from seeing Roxette in Nashville this evening. What an amazing day. It could not have gone any better.
Roxette came to Argentina the 4th of June. I got a room, with a pal, at the same hotel that Roxette (Ceasar Park). I was at the floor N° 10 and Marie N° 9, very near!!!. The frithday when we (my friend and I) get into the room we saw that were a video and I get out of the room to buy a video cassette to rec all that pass of Roxette at the TV, I went to buy it alone.
