This is more or less what happened the day I met cool Per and sweet Marie.
Are you ready? Well, hold on tight and join the crazy joyride...
It all began a week before when I got a phone call from my italian pal from
Wurin who is obviosly a Rox-Fan too: she told me that Roxette would have come to
Milan on 4-2-1999 to promote "Wish I could fly". I just could not believe it.
Finally the great day arrived out: yeah! It was written that Roxette would have
been at 2 Radio Stations, which are, by the way, in that same building... In the
morning I went to school and those 6 hours have been neverending!. Finally 13:40
arrived and I rushed at my best friend´s house to leave our bags. We ate nothing
(but I was not surely hungry!!!) and ran to the Radio Station: Roxette were
already there and were talking with the DJ. We could see them but we could not
hear a word. But it did not really matter to me, because since I had first seen
cool Per, I could not stop staring at him. He was talking to Marie, probably
during a break, and suddenly they turned to us and we waved towards him, he
smailed so heavenly and waved back: and that was all for us!!!!!!! while he was
smiling, I wished that moment could last forever: I was about to fall down
straight on the sidewalk cause my knees could not stand such an emotion! But all
good things must come to an end, so he turned back to the DJ to continue the
interview and I could breathe again as a normal PERson! After half an hour they
moved to the other Radio Station and that very long journey consisted in passng
from one room to another!
We changed our position as well and began again to stare at them: we waited
patiently from another half an hour and then the door opened and Per and Marie
appeared.
Man, they were soooooooo cute that we looked at them for a second, before trying
to get an autograph!
I actually succeeded in getting 3 autographs from Mr. Coolness who has been very
very sweet: One second I was among the crowd, and a second later (Pure
Luck!!!!!) I saw Per right in front of me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I could not say a
single word so I just handled him the piece of paper (a very important piece of
paper for me...) and he smiled again: He look the piece of paper but I was
holding a side of it. Suddenly I moved also Per´s hands... I was so red in face
and moreover he looked at me again and smiled for what had happened... I could
see his eyes thru the sunglasses and his time my knees threatened to give up...
Luckily he gave me back the signed piece of paper and I could get a bit far and
calm down... For the other 2 autographs it has been much easier: someone from
the Radio Station gave him and Marie some yellow cards and they began to sign
them and handle them around. I got near Per twice and I recived 2 cards from his
hand! When I got some photos since they stayed a bit more in order to allow us
to take them!!!. Whey have really been very sweet, also because they were
risking to miss the flight. At about 4 o´clock a car was waiting for them, and
they got in and started waving at us.
So this was my great meeting with Roxette and I gotta say, it has been a very
nice day! But after all it was a bright February afternoon...
